Case Study Prompt
Our client is a relatively new Medicaid provider serving people with developmental disabilities, such as cerebral palsy, Down’s syndrome, autism, etc. The company provides in-home services, such as bathing, feeding, passing medications, companionship, taking clients out into the community, etc. They generated $2M in annual revenue last year.
As a small, but growing business, most of their operations are managed via multiple spreadsheets saved in various locations. This is inefficient and does not provide a single, centralized system for managing the core business functions, such as Medicaid billing, payroll, client documentation, and medication records.
The CEO (also the Head of IT) is asking us to recommend an IT system that will meet the growing needs of the company.
What would be your approach to helping the client select and implement an IT system?
