The client is a small drug manufacturer, DevCo, based in the United States. DevCo currently has one drug on the market sold mainly in the United States, but has also sold to a lesser degree in the U.K. and Germany.
DevCo is looking to increase its presence in Europe and is considering expanding into Poland, Spain, and France, specifically.
DevCo is interested in knowing which country it should expand into and what the criteria should be for choosing a country.

Your client in this business case interview is a drug manufacturer with a presence in the US. The company wants to expand into the European market. You’ve been tasked to identify which country to expand into.
We recommend that you apply the Market Study Framework to solve the business case interview, but don’t pigeonhole yourself into the basic case framework. Work outside the structure by incorporating elements of other frameworks and your own business understanding to create a custom structure.
