Tepper School of Business - Carnegie Mellon University
The Carnegie Mellon Tepper School of Business is known for their creation of the “mini-semester” system, where they have four quarters of six and a half week classes. Students choose to study General Management or one of four specialized MBA tracks that are offered. Some of these specializations include Business Analytics and Technology Leadership. Through electives, students choose concentrations to tailor their education to their specific aspirations. Students can also earn a joint MBA. The school values having a global perspective and giving the students global experiences. Many students embark on Global Treks, which are two week trips, and some study abroad through the Transitional Economies program for two mini-semesters.
