Olin Business School - Washington Univ., St. Louis
The Olin Business School focuses on a killer core curriculum to build a solid foundation. They allow students to specialize in one out of five “Career Platforms.” These career platforms include: Corporate Finance & Investments, Consulting & General Management, Operations & Supply Chain Management, and Marketing, and Entrepreneurship. There are concentration for students to further their expertise and career goals. The Olin Business School also offers students the opportunity to combine an MBA with a specialty masters in urban design, architecture, biomedical engineering, social work, East Asian studies, public health, environmental and chemical engineering, and energy.
There are also PhD programs and specialty master’s programs in supply chain management, finance, leadership and accounting. Some of the more flexible programs are the professional MBA program which is executed during evenings, as well as the executive MBA program which runs on the weekends.
The school houses a few research centers such as the Growth and the Boeing Center for Technology, the Institute for Innovation, and Information and Manufacturing. The school values both research and and a global focus in their curriculum. There are both short-term and long-term study abroad programs in places in France, England, Germany, India, Hong Kong, and Spain.
