W. P. Carey School of Business - Arizona State University
The W.P. Carey School of Business is one of the country’s largest business schools, having over Three-hundred faculty and 1,800 graduate students. When looking into MBA programs, students have four offered programs. There is a full-time and part-time schedule, which involve executive, evening, and online options. In addition, they offer specialized graduate degrees in Agribusiness, Information Management, Accountancy, Taxation, and Real Estate Development. They also have PhD programs. Joint degrees are also offered through the school of Law, Architecture, as well as the MA in Accountancy and the MS in Information Management programs.
The school is large, but each respective program still maintains small enrollment and class sizes because open and educational discussion is important to the curriculum. In order to start students on the right track, each on is required to write an Individual Development Plan, which lays out their strategy to developing critical leadership abilities. This development plan follows them through the program into their summer internships for fine-tuning. Students are surrounded by opportunities having a large alumni base.
