The typical FTI Consulting career path consists of six levels:

There is opportunity for upward mobility, as the firm does not necessarily organize promotions around length of service but places more emphasis on performance reviews. Most consultants have positive things to say about their time at FTI, which is not surprising – consulting is a human-capital driven industry.
