Hotel Rankings For Consultants

Credit Card Disclaimer

If you work in the consulting industry, hotels are probably important to you. With so much travel needed for projects, it is actually common for consultants to spend the majority of the week in hotels rather than at home. If that sounds like you or if you are an aspiring consultant, you will want to know our Hotel Rankings for consultant travel. Granted, the Pandemic has altered how much consultants are traveling, but it’s steadily coming back as well.

First, it is important to note that we will be ranking overall hotel chains, rather than individual hotels. We know it is always interesting to take a look at the top ranked hotels in the world, but have you seen how expensive those rooms are? Thousands of dollars a night. We know your client is not going to let you expense that!

Second, we know that hotels can vary depending on location. Your Hyatt in Oklahoma probably will not be as nice as your Hyatt in New York City. We are prioritizing the holistic view and looking at hotels overall. Our ranking is based on TripAdvisor’s Top 10 Global “Most Excellent” methodology for hotel chains with over 500 properties. So the methodology is largely based on the percentage of actual reviews that were positive for the quality of stay.

Lastly, we are focusing on hotels for business travel. While there are a lot of great boutique and luxurious hotels out there, we want to focus on the ones you are more likely to stay at. As a result, you will probably be seeing a lot of big brand name hotels you are familiar with. There may be some surprises as some typically very nice hotels, are further down the list.
